This course will provide general industry workers with information about their rights, employer
responsibilities, and how to file a complaint as well as how to identify, abate, avoid, and
prevent job-related hazards. The training covers a variety of general industry safety and
health hazards that a worker may encounter at a general industry work site. Training will emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention. This in-person training, conducted by an OSHA-authorized instructor, focuses on recognizing and mitigating common workplace hazards to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
